FAQ
ARE THE CLASSES ALL LEVELS?
Flow classes are challenging practices that flow from posture to posture. Our teachers will offer modifications as needed. The practice of yoga teaches you to listen to your body, so if you need to take a break in Child’s pose, you can always do that! It is your practice. Our Gentle Yoga classes are the most accessible to beginners, as they are taken at a slower pace, with longer holds and provide more opportunity for teachers to make individual guidance as needed.
ARE ALL THE CLASSES HEATED?
Most of our classes are heated with infrared technology, but some are non-heated. Refer to the schedule to check.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN POWER FLOW, ALL-LEVELS FLOW, AND GENTLE?
Power Flow and All-Levels Flow are dynamic movement practices. These are great on active recovery days from your vigorous workouts. In Gentle, we concentrate on going deeper by holding postures for longer periods of time. While there are still flow elements incorporated into the practice, it is not as fast paced as the other Flow classes. It is a great compliment to a hard training day. Each teacher brings a unique style of teaching, so we recommend you try each teacher’s class out to see what vibes with you!
HOW MUCH TIME SHOULD I GIVE MYSELF BEFORE CLASS TO ARRIVE?
We strongly encourage you to register for the class through our website. We recommend arriving 15 minutes before class to check in at the pad, set up your mat, talk with the instructor if need be, and prepare yourself for practice.
DO YOU HAVE SHOWERS?
We do not have showers. We have a changing area to refresh and prepare to face the rest of your day!
HOW HOT IS THE ROOM?
Our unique infrared heating system gets the room between 80-95 degrees.
WHAT DO I NEED?
An open mind and desire to move. Also, a yoga mat and towel if you have one. Bring water with you, as you are sure to sweat!
WHAT DO I WEAR?
Comfortable athletic clothes that allow you to move and flow without getting tangled up in them. No shoes or socks inside of the yoga room. Extra points if you wear RO gear.
DO YOU RENT MATS ?
Loaner mats are available to you free of charge. Please note, there is a limited supply. You do, however, get a free unlimited supply of great atmosphere and good vibes.
IS IT SAFE TO PRACTICE EVERYDAY?
This practice helps you to foster a deeper connection to your body. Listen to your body and what it needs. If your practice is feeling strong, come as often as you like! Our practices can be demanding on the body and make your muscles work, so be sure to take a rest whenever you need it. Also, be sure to drink plenty of water before and after practice.
DO YOU ALLOW DROP-INS?
Yes! You can purchase a drop-in. We hope you’ll love it and want to practice more, in which case the better deal would be to buy a class package or unlimited membership.
WHY DOESN’T ROLL OUT YOGA ACCEPT CASH?
For the safety of our team and students, we prefer not to keep any cash in the studio. Payment can be made through the website, Zelle, or Venmo.
WHAT IS YOUR POLICY ON MINORS TAKING CLASSES?
Our minimum age to participate in class is 16 years old. Exceptions can be made on a case by case basis. These requests must be sent to rolloutyoga@gmail.com before booking a class for the minor participant. There are several guidelines to follow for the safety of the minor and to maintain a good experience for all members of the studio.
Once the exception is approved, as the consenting parent or guardian of the minor participant, you must agree to the following:
You will always attend and participate in class with the minor
If the minor participant wishes to leave the class, you must also leave. The studio does not allow minor participants to be left unattended in the lobby area
If the minor participant is found to be disruptive during class, the teacher can/may ask you and the minor to leave the class.
Refunds/credits will not be issued if you and/or the minor are unable to complete class.
