Michael

My yoga journey began back in 2016, primarily as a guinea pig for Jackie’s teaching.  It wasn’t until 2019 when the studio opened, that my practice started to develop and become a regular part of my life.   I realized how much better I felt and was able to recover from my other activities.  After being able to focus on my own practice for multiple years, I started and spent the next few years studying under Jackie to teach and share this journey with the community.

You can still find me on my mat, maybe even next to you in class.  I can also be found on the Jiu-Jitsu mats and more recently, pickleball courts.  I enjoy being active, playing sports, and generally anything that will challenge me physically and mentally.

In my classes, you may find me incorporating movements from other modalities.  I’ll also offer plenty of modifications, as I’m well acquainted with prior major injuries and surgeries.  My focus in each class is to leave you feeling great, sometimes energized, sometimes tired, most of the time sweaty.  You’ll likely find us having fun and flowing together, behind a diverse genre of tunes.  Feel free to suggest a playlist or let me know to turn it up!
